Mink hunting on icy log

Dan writes:

I pointed a camera trap along a log bridging a small stream in the
Delaney wetlands. I had hoped to photograph animals using the log to
cross the stream. Both times I visited the log there was a single set
of tracks (fox, then maybe mink) crossing the log. There was also a
slide in the snow where an animal had slithered over as it moved downstream.

On Christmas day, my camera captured this mink perched on an ice shelf.
He looks ready to pounce into the water at the first sign of motion.
What do you think, are those bounding mink tracks across the log?
